After my father lost weight because of his cancer diagnosis, his doctor told him to try Ensure Plus--and it has worked for him, helping him regain at least some of the weight he has lost. I was feeling a lack of energy myself, so I decided to try this product and see if it could help me. It did! Sure, the taste isn't the greatest, but it's not bad, either. You are best off cooling it down in the refrigerator first; then shake the bottle to stir up the bottom contents all through the drink including the top where you drink it first. It does get sweeter as you drink it, even with shaking it first some of the drink's residue remains on the inside bottom of the bottle--but then it gets sweeter and much more pleasant tasting.

Another plus is that this product is lactose free; as another reviewer noted this means that Ensure Plus is particularly good for those of us who are lactose intolerant or people following a vegan diet.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product for anyone struggling to regain weight after a weight loss because of ill health; and people who need an energy boost may well benefit from this drink. I highly recommend Ensure Plus. Of course, if you have any doubts about your particular situation, ask your doctor or pharmacist first before you use this.

This product shipped overnight which was a real surprise! I sent it to someone I know who is older and frail. She says the chocolate and strawberry are her favorite and she drinks two a day. After two months she gained ten pounds! I have them on auto shipment and I am very happy with the product.
